  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside personally upon my Cure and In my Vicarage House. And have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have only the Benefice of Bickleigh with the parochial Chapel of Shitistor annext.

  3. Divine service at other churches: only at Bickleigh & Shetistor.

  4. Frequency of divine service: two Sundays at Bickleigh every third Sunday at Shetistor. twice Every Lord's Day with a Sermon in the morning.

  5. Frequency of communion: four times in the Year at each Parish. The number of Communicants at Bickleigh about 30. At Shetistor about 18.

  6. Catechising of children: In Lent and all other times when sent by their Parents and Guardians.

  7. Church fabric: my Churches and Chancels are in good Repair. the Churchyard well kept and we have all things decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: I have a Copy of a Terrier extracted from the Register at Exeter.

  9. Number of families: In Bickleigh about twenty four. In Shetistor about Ten.

  10. Chapels: no.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: no Papists nor meeting Houses, nor Dissenters of any Denomination.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: we have no publick school Alms House Hospital or other Charitable Endowment nor parochial Library only a school where Children are taught to read.

  13. Charity: we have not in Bickleigh any Lands left for charitable Uses, But two Benefactions: the one of fifty Pounds by Dame Elizabeth Modyford: the other of ten Pounds by Mr John Herring the Interest of which is to be given away annually in Bread. In Shetistor a Cottage for the Use of the Poor they are duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: my Institution is dated the first of October 1760. my Priest's Orders June 5th 1748.
